The National Meeting of Public Health Medical Residents (ENMISP) is a scientific event jointly organized by the Public Health Medical Residents’ Committees and the National Association of Public Health Physicians (ANMSP), as a non-profit initiative, typically held on an annual basis. In 2026, the 17th ENMISP will take place from May 20 to 22 in Lisbon. This year marks 20 years since ENMISP was first established. The most recent editions were held in Coimbra (2025) under the theme “Public Health and Society,” in Vila do Conde (2024) with the theme “Circular Health,” and in Sines (2023) with the theme “Redesigning Health.” This event is characterized as a catalyst for ideas, dialogue, and reflection on current topics and innovation in the field of Public Health, as well as a space for sharing experiences among professionals dedicated to Public Health. The congress also includes a scientific competition, featuring poster presentations and oral communications. There will be plenary sessions, round tables, and also an incredible cultural program.
