Ecos da EPH Conference by Adriana Rocha @EPH, Ljubjana - Dia 0

O primeiro dia da EPH foi dedicado a pré-conferências e exibição de posters.
Realizaram-se no total 14 pré-conferências:
  • Healing Buildings, Building Healing / Mental health across the life course – com a palestra do Professor José Miguel Caldas de Almeida (Nova Medical School), intitulada “Mental Health Policy Actions – State of play and emerging needs”;
  • Winds of change in health promotion: from research to implementation – com a moderação do Professor Luís Saboga-Nunes;
  • Working together for a people-centred health Workforce;
  • Navigating the international health information databases: unravelling the processes behind the numbers;
  • Migrant Heath Training and Dissemination Workshop – com o Professor Henrique Barros a integrar o painel de discussão;
  • Fair social security assessments and sustainable social security systems;
  • Health in the future EU Budget and Programmes (2021-2027);
  • European public health: three cases of collaboration, initiatives and new policies;
  • EU Actions on Antimicrobial Resistance and healthcare associated infection;
  • Food culture and biodiversity;
  • Health inequalities: JAHEE joint action bringing knowledge into practice;
  • Public health and primary health care – success stories from Slovenia;
  • Publishing a scientific paper on public health: practical solutions;
  • Young Researchers’ Forum - Neste Fórum de Jovens Investigadores, foram apresentados vários trabalhos de investigação realizados por portugueses e/ou em instituições nacionais, sob a forma de comunicação oral ou poster:

    8. “Human exposute to disinfection by products in indoor swimming pools – looking at the genotoxic effects”, Filipa Esteves, Universidade do Porto;
    9. “Unintentional fatal drowning among children and adolecents aged 5-17 years: increased incidence during school holidays”, Ana Catarina Queiroga, Universidade do Porto.

Ainda na tarde do primeiro dia foi possível assistir à exibição de posters, divididos por 17 temáticas. De salientar a ampla divulgação dos trabalhos portugueses:
